A plant head once told us his file was “basically ready”. We asked for the list of what was in it. He had the manufacturing licence, a GMP certificate that had expired, and a product list typed in two fonts. The stability summary was “with the chemist”. The chemist was on leave until Monday. A buyer wanted the Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product before he would open a letter of credit.
That is the usual shape of a compliance problem. It is not a riddle. It is a pile, and one annexure in it is always the one nobody has scanned.
The Pharma Partners Private Limited does not approve drugs. State licensing authorities and the CDSCO do that, each in their own lane. Manufacturing licences sit with the state. Some product approvals sit with the CDSCO. We do not blur those lines to sound more important, and we do not promise an approval date. Anyone offering you a date is telling a story.
What assistance looks like
We start with an inventory, not a slogan. Manufacturing licence. Product permissions already granted. WHO-GMP or any other GMP certificate, with the expiry read out loud. Site master file, if one exists and is current. Specifications and methods the plant is willing to share. Artwork the marketing company believes is final. It often is not. Someone changed a colour in a group chat and never told the person holding the file.
Then we mark what this particular job needs. A domestic product permission is a different pile from a COPP for export. A third-party arrangement needs the agreement and the plant’s licence to cover the dosage form. A loan-licence arrangement is another set again. Mixing them is how a file sits for months under the wrong covering letter.
Then we chase. The quality head has the chromatograms. The admin desk has the renewal acknowledgement. The marketing team has three pack shots, and none of them match the composition on the permission. Someone has to ask all three in the same week. Inside the company, each person assumes another person already sent it. We are often that someone, because we are not inside the argument.
The line we will not cross
We will not backdate a certificate, invent a test, or tell you to submit a number you do not have. If a document is expired, the next step is renewal, not a scan with the date cropped out. If you already have a regulatory consultant, we do not push them aside. We keep the commercial thread and the document thread in one place, so the consultant is not waiting on a quotation and the plant is not waiting on a composition that changed on Tuesday.
If your file is “basically ready” and a partner is still asking for the same PDF, send what you have to info@thepharmapartners.com or call +91 95056 51342. We will tell you what is actually in the folder. Related work sits with product registration, which is the same pile aimed at a specific market.
