Kraft folders, a pen, and reading glasses on a wooden desk

Product registration has a reputation for being mysterious. Most of the delay, when we are asked to look, is not mysterious at all. The composition on the artwork does not match the composition on the permission. The GMP certificate expired six weeks ago and the renewal receipt is in a finance folder because somebody thought it was an invoice. The free-sale statement the foreign buyer asked for has been assigned to an executive who has never applied for one and is too embarrassed to say so.

The Pharma Partners Private Limited helps companies build and keep that file. Domestic product permissions, export documents, dossiers a buyer or a foreign agent has specified, and the dull index that lets a new joiner find any of it in an afternoon. The authority still decides. We do not sit in their chair, and we will not tell you we do.

A file is a list with owners

We make the list in the company’s words first, then we translate it into the words the application uses. For each line: the document name, the date on it, the date it dies, the person who holds the original, and whether the scan in the shared drive is the same document. That last check sounds petty. It is the one that catches the artwork revision everyone forgot to replace.

Owners matter more than folders. A site master file that “belongs to QA” belongs to nobody the week QA is in an audit. We write a person’s name. If that person leaves, the name has to change in the same week, or the file starts rotting immediately. Companies that feel organised and companies that feel chaotic often have the same papers. One of them can produce a paper before the tea arrives. The other finds it on day nine, after the buyer has gone cold.

Different markets, same bad habit

A state product permission, a CDSCO filing where one is required, and a registration in another country are not interchangeable stacks. The bad habit that ruins all three is the same: starting the application because a customer is shouting, then discovering the technical section was never written. We would rather spend a week on the index and tell you the file is not ready, than spend a month dressing an incomplete file as a submission.

If a local consultant or a foreign agent is already appointed, send us their checklist. We will not invent a second one for the pleasure of having our own format. Our job is to pull the Indian company’s documents onto that checklist, flag the gaps, and keep a single mail thread so plant, marketing, and the agent are not each waiting on a different version. That sits beside the wider compliance work and the export work. Same papers, different reader.

Send the checklist you have, even a rough one, to info@thepharmapartners.com, or call +91 95056 51342 and read out the items you cannot find. The ones you cannot find are the job.
