A formulation company in India can be genuinely good at making a tablet and still lose an export enquiry by the weekend. The buyer, writing from Nairobi or Manila or Tashkent, asks for the Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product, the GMP certificate, the product permission, and a packing that survives his port. The plant has the tablet. The COPP request has not even been drafted. By the time it is, the buyer has two other quotations and less patience.
International work at The Pharma Partners Private Limited is this gap. We help companies get from “we also export” to a specific market, a specific buyer, and a document set that matches what that buyer asked for. We do not clear customs ourselves, and we do not register your product with a foreign authority by wishing it. A local agent in the destination country is often mandatory. We will tell you when that is the case rather than talk over it.
The domestic product is not the export product
The composition may be the same and the file may still be different. Artwork needs the importer’s name, the language, and sometimes a pack the Indian trade has never used. Shelf-life expectations change. A scheme you offer a stockist in Madhya Pradesh is meaningless to a buyer who wants a proforma invoice, an Incoterm written in full, and a shipment date he can insure.
Registration is its own queue. Some countries accept a WHO-GMP certificate and a COPP and move. Others want a dossier, samples, and a legalised set of papers that will take longer than the production lead time. We map that before anyone books a booth at a trade fair. A fair is a poor place to discover that your best-selling Indian brand cannot be shipped as it stands.
How we help a company step out
First, an honest read of what you can already show a foreign buyer this month. Licence, permissions, GMP status, stability, languages your team can answer an email in. Second, a short list of markets where that file is a plausible start, not a fantasy. Third, introductions to buyers, distributors, or local partners we actually speak to, with your real lead time in the note. Fourth, the chase on the Indian side of the paper: the COPP application that has been “in process” since someone went on leave, the product list that does not match the certificate, the artwork no one has frozen.
Export support without that chase is a directory of email addresses. Companies already have directories. They write to us when the directory has gone quiet.
If you have a product permission, a plant that can spare a batch, and a country in mind, send the country and the product to info@thepharmapartners.com or call +91 95056 51342. If you do not have a country in mind yet, say so. We would rather pick one market you can enter than applaud a plan to enter forty. The paperwork habits in registration are the same muscles, pointed outward.
